TEATRO is a proposed revolutionary supercomputing architecture, born from an IARPA challenge and fueled by former NASA Director Dan Goldin’s Knuedge Corporation revived fabric interconnect technologies. The IARPA AGILE proposal drafting and federal team was led by JDSS & Associates and now commercialized by the creation of TEATRO, Inc. (following DSTS Family Office acquisition of Knuedge), it aims for a scale-invariant, heterogeneous, and composable supercomputer by the 2030s. This will be achieved by enhancing Knuedge’s Lambda Fabric, integrating additional innovation outflowing from areas such as DARPA PIPES, and utilizing a sophisticated simulation and emulation infrastructure (including the “Miwok” cluster) for rapid development and testing. TEATRO promises to usher in the next era of accelerated scientific discovery, AI development, and data-intensive applications through a new paradigm of energy efficient and adaptable supercomputing.
